This User Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") explains how Riddy ("Riddy", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data about users ("you", "User") when using the Riddy mobile application and related services (the "Platform" / "Service").
1. Applicability
You are not under any legal obligation to provide personal data to Riddy. However, if you choose not to provide certain personal data, you may not be able to use parts of the Platform or certain services available through it.
You must meet the minimum age requirement as stipulated by the applicable laws to use the Platform. If you do not meet the required age, you are prohibited from using the Platform.
Riddy may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We recommend reviewing it periodically. If we make material changes, we may notify you in the app and/or as required by law.
2. Personal data collected by Riddy
Riddy may collect the following types of data:
2.1 Data provided by you
- (a) Account & login data: phone number (used for OTP login) and basic account identifiers.
- (b) Orders: delivery address, ordered items, and order notes/preferences. Order history is stored permanently.
- (c) Support & communications: information you provide when you contact support or communicate with us.
2.2 Data collected automatically when you use the Platform
- (a) Network data: IP address.
- (b) Device & app data: device model, operating system, app version, language/time zone, and similar technical data.
- (c) Usage & diagnostics: analytics and performance data, and crash reports.
- (d) Location data (precise): if you grant permission, we may collect precise location while the app is in use only. The Platform may also allow you to select the service area manually.
3. Personal data collected by third parties
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party products or services that may be accessible through or used within the Platform. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.
Riddy may use third-party service providers to operate and improve the Platform, including for analytics, diagnostics, push notifications, and maps/location features. These providers may process certain technical data in order to provide their services, subject to their own policies.
4. Use of personal data
Riddy uses personal data for the following purposes:
Operating the Platform and providing the Service, including account management and OTP login.
Processing and managing orders and providing order history.
Providing customer support and handling inquiries.
Maintaining, developing, improving, and troubleshooting the Platform.
Protecting the Platform and Users, including addressing abuse and security issues.
Complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations where relevant.
5. Payments
Currently, the Platform supports cash payment only. Riddy does not collect or store credit card details or electronic payment details at this time.
If electronic payment methods are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and payments may be processed through licensed third-party payment providers.
6. Sharing personal data with third parties
Riddy does not share personal data except where necessary, including in the following cases:
Service provision & order fulfillment: sharing necessary data with partners (such as restaurants/merchants) to fulfill your order (order details, delivery address, and order notes).
Service providers: sharing limited data with vendors that support our operations (such as hosting, analytics, diagnostics, push notifications, OTP/SMS services, and maps), under obligations to protect data.
Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or lawful governmental request.
Security: to detect, prevent, and address security issues, and to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards and notices where required.
Riddy does not sell personal data.
7. Data retention
Order history: order records and related information are retained permanently for service operation and order history.
IP address: IP address may be retained as part of operational records.
Analytics/diagnostics data: retained according to provider settings and as needed for performance, debugging, and improvements.
8. User choices and account deletion
Users can delete their account inside the app.
Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data where feasible. However, we may retain certain records if necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or protection of the Platform.
9. Security
Riddy applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International processing
Although Riddy operates in Israel, certain service providers may store or process data on servers located outside Israel, and data protection laws may differ.
